Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Holt in London on the 19th of November 1972. She was born in London, to an Chinese mother and a French father. Her family moved into Toronto Canada when she was five, and it is where she has lived ever since. She started out as Paris catwalk model, but later decided to pursue a career as an actress. Annuka was first seen in the spotlight as an actor in Black Robe of 1991. In this role, she received nominations to win the Genie Award the Canadian Oscar. The films Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed and she also made guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. For John Woo s The Thief she was an integral part of the show for 22 episodes. The movie Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation followed in 2004 and is available on DVDVHS and Resident Evil Apocalypse. Following a string of small parts for her in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and a few other films she received her first bigger role as the main character. After various guest roles in series and smaller roles in movies Holt played a major role on Hostages in 2013 and she played a minor role in the Netflix show House of Cards. The Returned, The Returned, the US remake of The Returned, Holt played Julie Han. She was also cast in the character of Dr. Bethany Exner in 2015.
